Nivea R. Ribas, MD has been a Hialeah-Miami Lakes sole practitioner for 25 years. She chose to join First Choice Neurology to gain assistance with the administrative functions of her medical office. At age 9, Dr. Ribas began dreaming of being a neurologist, after witnessing her infant brother suffer a seizure. After a 12-year higher education, she qualified for a 2-year neurology epilepsy fellowship mapping seizure sites for Gamma Knife eradication. Ever since she has followed her dream to be an Epileptologist-Neurologist.
